Mr. Hussain Sultan is Group Chief Executive and Board Member of Emirates National Oil Company Limited - ENOC, the Dubai Government’s holding company for a number of joint ventures and subsidiaries.  He holds various positions on the boards of these companies including that of Chairman Dragon Oil plc, Chairman of Vopak Horizon Fujairah Ltd., Chairman of Gulf Energy Maritime PJSC and Managing Director of EPPCO.  In addition Mr. Sultan has been a Board Member of Dubai Investments since its formation.  Mr. Sultan has been an active member of the business community in the U.A.E. for many years and has a personal interest in education.  He is also a member of the Dubai Council for Economic Affairs.

Graduating from Glasgow University, Scotland with a BSc. in Civil Engineering he worked for four years in the United Kingdom for a number of engineering firms and read for municipal and traffic engineering.  He is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Member of the British Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institute of Petroleum and Institute of Directors.
