Hakam Kanafani is the Vice Chariman of the Executive Committee of the Young Arab Leaders Program, as well as Chairman Business Development Work-Group for the Arab Business Forum.  He is also currently the Chief Executive Officer of Palestine Cellular Communications (JAWWAL).  Mr. Kanafani previously held the position of Vice-President of Operations at United Auto Technologies in Orange County, California and Managing Director of MM Sons Group Communications Technology Sector in Cairo, Egypt

Mr. Kanafani graduated from University Of Maryland, College Park with a BSc. and BA.  He also earned his MBA and Post Graduate studies from the University of Maryland and Howard University.  He has written various papers and research material covering the fields of International Marketing, Communications and International Management.
