Riz Khan, one of the world’s leading journalists, is the former Senior News Anchor of CNN International. He is best known for the program “Q&A with Riz Khan” which has hosted more world leaders than any other international news interview show. Before joining CNNI in May 1993, he was a presenter and reporter with the BBC, anchoring World Service Newscasts since October 1991. Earlier, Khan was a presenter and reporter for Central TV in Birmingham, England, and was a presenter and reporter for BBC Radio 4 and Radio 5. Khan also has reported for national and regional BBC television and radio.

Dr. Beschel has a Masters degree in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and a Masters and Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard’s Government Department. He has authored and edited numerous monographs, articles and case studies on various aspects of public sector and administrative reform.
