Mr. Arif Masood Naqvi, has over 24 years of experience in banking, finance and investments primarily in the Middle East and the Sub-continent.  He currently holds the position of Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Abraaj Capital Limited, the largest private equity fund in the Middle East region.  Prior to Abraaj, in 1994 Mr Naqvi founded the Cupola Group, a leading regional conglomerate focused on creating value through innovative capital and financing structures in the Middle East and the Sub-continent, and is the former Vice President of Business Development for the Olayan Group, Saudi Arabia’s largest private trading company.

Mr Naqvi earned his BSc Degree, specializing in Economic Institutions and Planning higher education at the London School of Economics (LSE), University of London where he obtained honors.  He was awarded the Vera Anstey Prize in 1982.
